Cancellation & Refund Schedule

• 60 or more days before the experience — Full refund of all payments made.
• 22–59 days before the experience — 50% refund, provided your spot can be filled by another participant. If the spot cannot be filled, no refund will be issued.
• 21 days or fewer before the experience — No refund. All payments are forfeited.
  

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another date at no additional charge, provided you notify us before the 30-day window.

If Omya Dark Cave Retreats cancels or postpones your experience, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a future date.

CONSUMER DISCLOSURE NOTICE

By booking and participating in the Omya Dark Cave Retreats experience offered through Gaia Marketplace, you acknowledge and agree that Gaia and Omya Dark Cave Retreats, including their respective affiliates, officers, employees, facilitators, representatives, and agents, shall not be held responsible or liable for any damages, expenses, or inconveniences arising from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to schedule changes, cancellations, pandemics, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, strikes, unforeseen emergencies, or other force majeure events.

Gaia and Omya Dark Cave Retreats shall not be responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during the retreat.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gaia and Omya Dark Cave Retreats, together with their affiliates, officers, employees, facilitators, and agents, shall not be liable for personal injury, illness, death, accidents, delays, losses, property damage, or other damages arising from participation in the retreat, including those resulting from unforeseen circumstances, changes to the retreat schedule, or acts or omissions of third parties.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

You understand and acknowledge that participation in the Omya Dark Cave Retreats experience involves inherent risks associated with extended periods of complete darkness, sensory deprivation, emotional processing, somatic practices, and other retreat activities.

These experiences may involve physical, psychological, or emotional discomfort, and individual responses may vary.

By participating, you voluntarily accept and assume the risks associated with the retreat and agree, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to release Gaia and Omya Dark Cave Retreats, including their respective affiliates, facilitators, employees, representatives, and agents, from liability for injury, illness, emotional distress, loss, or damage arising from your participation, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

You certify that you have accurately disclosed any relevant medical, physical, or psychological conditions that may affect your ability to participate safely in the retreat. You also confirm that you are not knowingly experiencing a contagious illness that could pose a risk to other participants or staff.

Omya Dark Cave Retreats reserves the right to assess participant suitability through its intake and screening process and may decline or discontinue participation when reasonably necessary for the health, safety, or well-being of the participant or others.

Gaia and Omya Dark Cave Retreats reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the retreat when necessary for safety, operational, or unforeseen circumstances.

You understand that neither travel insurance nor medical insurance is provided by Gaia or Omya Dark Cave Retreats. Participants are responsible for obtaining any insurance coverage they consider appropriate.

SPECIAL NOTE

Gaia and Omya Dark Cave Retreats are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all participants, facilitators, and staff.

Participants are expected to respect the retreat environment, follow reasonable safety instructions, and cooperate with facilitators throughout the experience.

Omya Dark Cave Retreats reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or detrimental to the well-being of others. Removal due to misconduct or failure to follow retreat guidelines may result in forfeiture of retreat fees, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If a participant voluntarily chooses to leave the retreat before its scheduled completion, no refund will be provided for unused portions of the experience, except where otherwise required by law.

CHANGES

The retreat schedule, activities, facilitation sessions, accommodations, and other elements of the Omya Dark Cave Retreats experience may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, participant safety considerations, operational requirements, or events beyond the reasonable control of Gaia or Omya Dark Cave Retreats.

Gaia and Omya Dark Cave Retreats reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments as necessary while maintaining the overall purpose and integrity of the retreat experience.

Any cancellation or postponement initiated by Omya Dark Cave Retreats will be handled in accordance with the applicable cancellation and refund policy.
